Love the Library? Become a Friend!
The Friends of the Sherwood Public Library were established in 1975 and have been working tirelessly to support programs that benefit the library and community ever since. Projects the Friends have contributed to over the years include the Library's Summer Reading Program, author presentations, storytimes, computers for staff and public, library furniture and improvements and much, much more. Every April, they host the highly anticipated Used Book Sale and their purple book sale cart is available every day in the Library.
For a minimum membership of $5 a year, you can become a Friends and share in the accomplishments of this dedicated group. Applications are available at the Library and online at www.sherwoodfol.org.
On Thursday, March 4, 2010 the Friends will hold their annual General Membership Meeting and election of officers in the Community Meeting Room at 5:00 p.m.
