Donations Welcome for Spring Book Sale!
Book, audio book, video, CD, and DVD donations are being accepted at the Library in preparation for the Friends of the Sherwood Library Used Book Sale. Scheduled for Saturday, April 24, 2010, all proceeds from this annual event benefit the Library. Donations are accepted during the Library's open hours. We ask that materials not be left outside when the building is closed. And, please, no magazines, Reader's Digest Condensed Books, textbooks or National Geographics.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the Friends of the Library or in helping with the book sale you are invited to attend the Friends' General Membership Meeting on Thursday, March 4 at 5:00 p.m. in the Community Meeting Room at the Library/City Hall. This is the annual meeting where officers are elected. Decisions will also be made regarding the book sale. For more information, call the Library at 503-625-6688.
