There's still time to claim your Summer Reading prizes!

Have you finished your summer reading log? The last day to return your log and claim your prizes is Friday, September 3rd  Each participant that completes their reading log receives:

  • One paperback book (choose from our large selection for all ages)
  • One FREE child's ticket to a Portland Trailblazers game (Dates TBA / Child must be accompanied by a paying adult)
  • One Coupon for a discounted ride bracelet at the Oaks Park Summer Reading Celebration scheduled for Thursday, August 26th.

 

Read to the Dogs Program

This innovative program sponsored by Delta Society, DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital and the Sherwood Public Library pairs young readers with trained dog-and-handler teams and helps children develop their reading skills by offering them a relaxed, non-judgmental environment in which to practice reading aloud.
Jackson and his human handler, Bri are at the library most Saturdays and would love to have you read to them.
Sign up for a 20 minute session to practice your reading AND make a new friend.
